FAQs

  • Inaam curates the world’s best impact companies that are listed on global stock exchanges, from Australia to New York to Hong Kong.

We package these curated stocks into themes such as Renewable Energy, Sustainable Fashion, Ethical Consumption, Sustainable Agriculture, Health and Wellbeing and Waste Management.

We’ll then help you hone in on the perfect investor profile for you through our dope questionnaire, build you a custom portfolio tuned to your impact goals and take you through exactly where your money is being invested, which companies, which geographies, and most importantly, how your money is making a difference and what kinds of investment returns you’re potentially looking at.

We’ll always explain everything along the way with built-in investment literacy, so you’ll get to invest with all the vital information and understanding behind it. It’s simply, good, accessible, impact investing.

  • Our introductory plan involves a small subscription fee of $10 per month (that’s 5 less coffee’s this month and hey we’re doing you a favor by reducing the waste those 5 coffee cups would make!)

What do you get for spending $10 a month?

  • We have adapted the Impact Management Projects’ framework with our own little twist.

When it comes to screening companies as successful ethical investments, we follow the following parameters:

    1. Market Cap >$1bn

    2. Industry: Renewable Energy, Sustainable Agriculture, Conscious Consumption, Wellbeing, Waste Management

    3. Financials (EBITDA/PAT)

EBITDA > $500m this is how much money the business makes before deduction interest expenses, tax. Depreciation and amortisation (i.e the death rate of assets it has)

PAT >$100M (This is how much profit the business makes after paying tax)

    4. Leadership Team

Good leaders make for good companies, which make for good investments.

We conduct in depth psychosocial and personality assessments on the leaders running these companies to check if they have the traits that it takes to change the world.

    5. Ethics

We triple check that the company is above board in human rights, lawfulness, and environmental responsibility. That means no sweatshops and child slaves, no coal and oil mining, and no Harvey-Weinstein-esque sexual misconduct lawsuits, among other things. Basically, the things that shouldn’t even be a question at this point.

Finally, we run our short-list through some more complicated financial modelling that stress tests their business projections and future outcomes to make sure you get the best possible returns.
